About

Established in 1999

Our Origins

Youth Center Ardhmëria-Klinë was founded in October 1999 through the initiative of the Italian NGO ICS (Italian Consortium of Solidarity) in the immediate aftermath of the war in Kosovo. What started as a post-war necessity has evolved over more than two decades into a sustainable, youth-led institution and a cornerstone of youth development in Klina.

Global Partnerships & Networks

We maintain a strong, long-standing relationship with the American NGO MCW Global. Every year, we motivate and support young leaders from Klina to participate in international Youth Leadership Conferences in the USA. A historic highlight of this partnership was in 2017, when we co-hosted the International Youth Conference in Peja, Kosovo. Beyond our transatlantic ties, our expertise is backed by years of partnership with global programs like the European Solidarity Corps and the Peace Corps. Through our cross-border network, we offer a proven track record in non-formal education, intercultural exchange, and social work.

What We Do

Through our daily work, we develop educational and cultural events, workshops, seminars, youth exchanges, conferences, and youth groups while fostering vital life skills like volunteering and leadership training. We provide the framework and the passionate environment young people need to flourish. Get involved and grow with us.
